Now that you have mastered the basics of your computer, you are ready to expand your skill set to include basic maintenance, troubleshooting, minor repairs, upgrades, data backup, hard drive efficiency, and new operating platform installations. These new skills will allow a better understanding of how to prevent catastrophic system failures by giving you an in-depth knowledge base of how the hardware and software of your computer interact with each other. Individual lesson times will vary; as it is an estimate of how long it will take to give you a detailed one-on-one walkthrough for each new skill you would like to master.

In this lesson, you will learn how to save and share copies of your digital media using sharing center. 

Lesson 3: Installing Internal Hardware

 2:00 Hours

In this lesson, you will learn how to install, replace, or upgrade basic components of your computer such as the power supply, hard drive, memory, and CD/DVD drives.

Lesson 4: Formatting/Partitioning

2:00 Hours

 In this lesson, you will learn how to erase, divide, and customize your hard drive space to support multiple operating systems as well as optimize efficiency. 

Lesson 5: Reinstalling OS/Drivers

4:00 Hours

 In this lesson, you will learn how to locate and install the correct drivers for your hardware configuration and external devices after a fresh install of a new operating system. 

Lesson 6: Basic Diagnosing

2:00 Hours

 In this lesson, you will learn how to perform a systematic troubleshooting protocol to self-diagnose and repair basic compatibility errors in both software and hardware platforms.
